Music has always been an integral part of worship at Ear Remera Parish. Our choir ministry brings together talented vocalists and musicians who are dedicated to glorifying God through song. Through our various choirs, we create an atmosphere of reverence and celebration during our worship services.
Each choir has its own unique style and focus, but all are united in their commitment to excellence in worship leadership. Our choirs not only lead congregational singing but also perform special music during services, concerts, and community events.
Ijwi ry'Imbabazi Choir specializes in traditional Rwandan worship songs that celebrate God's grace and mercy. The name "Ijwi ry'Imbabazi" means "Voice of Grace" in Kinyarwanda, reflecting the choir's focus on songs that express gratitude for God's abundant blessings.
This choir is known for their powerful renditions of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs in both Kinyarwanda and English. Their performances are characterized by rich harmonies and passionate expressions of faith.
Founded in 2005, Ijwi ry'Imbabazi Choir has become one of the most beloved choirs in our parish. Under the direction of Music Director Jeanine Uwase, the choir has grown from just 8 members to over 30 talented vocalists.

Established in 1998, Maranatha Choir has been a cornerstone of our music ministry for over two decades. The choir has been directed by several talented musicians, currently led by Music Director David Mugisha.

This choir is known for their versatility, performing everything from traditional African hymns to contemporary worship songs. Their inclusive approach welcomes singers of all musical backgrounds and skill levels.
Founded in 2010, Umusamariya Mwiza Choir was created to provide a more accessible entry point for new singers interested in joining our music ministry. The choir has grown to include over 40 members from diverse musical backgrounds.

Established in 1995, Disciples of Jesus Choir is one of our oldest choirs. Originally formed as a small group of theology students, the choir has evolved into a diverse ensemble of singers committed to biblical teaching through music.

Founded in 2008, the Youth Choir was created to give young people a platform to develop their musical talents while serving in worship. The choir has become an important part of our youth ministry, providing leadership opportunities and spiritual growth.
